The Federal Government today visited Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in his government house chambers Jalingo to condole with him over Tarabans who died during the president visit to Taraba State on the 7th of February 2019. The delegation was led by Mr Mustapha Boss Secretary to the Federal Government (SGF).

Governor Ishaku while addressing them said he was overwhelmed with joy for  the concern showed by the president,he said this is what a father does when a child is pained and commended his actions.  Darius how ever said it was sad that innocent Tarabans lost their lives in the course of that incidence and prayed that God in his infinite mercy will give the families of the desist the fortitude to bear the lost. 

The Governor thanked the president for sending the high powered delegation to condole with him and appreciated them for having taking the pains to feel Tarabans pains. Ishaku however admonished citizens to always be careful and be watchful during events like that so as to avoid tragic incidence like this one, he said elections should be a
 period when  people will chose their leaders and not  period when people will be more divided.

Mustapha Boss speaking said the President however regrets the unfortunate incidence that led to the lost of lives and sympathize with Governor and state government and prayed that God almighty will console the families of the victim and the souls of the departed  rest in peace. He thank the Governor for the fatherly role he is playing in the state and in making sure that peace reigns in the state and ask that he keeps it up.
