We the Mambilla Muslim Stakeholders note with concern the renewed activities of certain irresponsible social media miscreants now parading themselves as championing Muslim politics under the name of a phantom group fictitiously named “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth”.  We have since discovered that the group has nothing to do with Islam. It is the propaganda arm of violent terror syndicates who usually ignite the series of mercenary invasions of the Mambilla Plateau. Their main motivation is the quest for permanent division and chaos among the people and accordingly have created the social media arm of their network of violence and bloodshed now known as “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth”.

2. We can recall that in early July 2018, we had had to respond to a similar charade by a terror kingpin, street charlatan and criminal of the itinerant type, who had shamelessly and similarly exposed his criminalities on social media. We are glad to note that the long arm of the law certainly caught up with him.

3. Most recently, our attention has been drawn to some malicious and criminal Facebook posts by this shadowy terrorist propaganda group deceptively masquerading as “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth” which appeared on Facebook. Those ill-motivated Facebook posts were most diabolically calculated not only to defame and ridicule the sterling reputation of our Mambilla Christian brothers and incite religious bigotry amongst the Mambilla people, but also to achieve certain satanic political agenda as the 2019 elections draw near. This was the same method these diabolicists used in the 2014/2015 electioneering campaigns to incite opprobrium against the unassailable leadership qualities of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, DCN Peter Abel Diah, HRH The Mbondua Mbamnga, Amb. Emmanuel Q. Njiwah, The Ngwìi Mambilla Chief Gebon T. Kataps and Cde. Dr. J.J Kataps, among others, who have always vigorously spearheaded the campaign for peaceful coexistence amongst the various groups in Sardauna LGA.

4. We wish to state from the outset that we the Mambilla Muslims cannot be deceived by these merchants of death who dish out bloodshed to our people (both Muslims and Christians)during crises and campaign for elections under the name of an accursed and God-forsaken “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth” whenever they are unable to ignite any new crisis. All peace-loving Muslims are hereby strongly advised to be weary of this terror group attempting to assume a civil face. Indeed, they are not true Muslims, they are terror merchants who have settled amongst us and hate the peace we have enjoyed for ages in Mambilla. We the Mambilla Muslims do not need a new-come terrorist network to tell us what we want and how we should live in this land. They want to re-enact the religious and ethnic turmoil of their respective homelands here in Mambilla. Our sophisticated and patriotic Mambilla youths have since discovered the divisive tactics of our “waka-about” detractors who campaign on the platform of “Islam” whenever it suits their political whims, but slaughter Mambilla Muslims by the gross in their mosques at the slightest opportunity.

5. Our Creed in Mambilla, indeed our immutable Creed, is that ALL MAMBILLA ARE ONE and anyone who appears in the Mambilla territorial space and conducts a campaign of religious hate to disunite the Mambilla is an unforgivable enemy, a terrorist usually from the Sahel, and is ipso facto not an indigene of Mambilla and possibly a non-citizen of this great country. True indigenes of the Mambilla territorial space do not engage in religious politics. Only settlers do. It is an immutable  creed for us that religious fanatics have no place in Mambilla Society and that anyone exhibiting signs of Islamic or other religious fanaticism is NOT autochthonous and is an impostor and foreigner seeking to benefit from social conflagrations here since he has no home, land or people to lose in the event. Such is an enemy of Mambilla and must be resisted to the last man. God created us first as Mambilla with Mambilla Traditions and Customs before we knew what is known as Islam or Christianity today. We were first and foremost Mambilla before we were anything else. God knows why he made us Mambilla originally and we wholeheartedly and unquestionably accept His omniscient decision. All Mambilla - Muslims, Christians or Mambilla Traditionalists- are one indivisible people and shall with one accord reject such fanatics and terrorists from the Sahel.

6. These evil and violently-inclined miscreants so resolutely hateful of the Mambilla Ethnic Nationality satanically claimed that the Mambilla were warring along Moslem-Christian lines. We are not. We shall not. We repeat, unlike these shameless terrorists, we have nothing to do with religious fanaticism or with religious politics. The Mambilla Society is not their type of society. They are accustomed to religious bigotry in their places of origin and hope to sell such violent religious politics to Mambilla. We the Mambilla Muslims are true and pious Muslims who will not buy violent conduct from these anarchists and false islamists. Their primordial intention is to start a Mambilla-Mambilla altercation in the media along religious lines, but we Mambilla Moslems and Christians are not religious miscreants as these phantom writers are and we are since past that level. We are NEVER going to be deceived by divisive settlers who came from religiously divided societies into the hospitable hands of the Mambilla on the Mambilla Plateau, but suddenly sprang uncanny and cursed shenanigans to achieve political advantages over the predominant indigenous Mambilla inhabitants.

7. These fake islamists and religious fanatics purport to show that Mambilla Christians should not be allowed to hold positions and that only Mambilla Muslims were acceptable to them. We reject such satanic propositions in their entirety. They further falsely claimed that the current Divisional Party Chairman, Mr. Amos John, was imposed by Christians. These ignorant ethno-religionists-cum-Sahelian irredentists, however, never got to know that Mr. Amos John, JP, won the party’s Divisional Party Chairmanship by popular vote and has been there for the past 8 years.He was not appointed but duly elected by the voters who wanted him to lead the party. Down memory lane, no Mambilla Christian or Muslim ever complained when Alh. Musa Mambilla Mvurrlà Leme, a Muslim, was elected Divisional Party Chairman for eight long years. Similarly, Alh. Adamu Sòde, another Mambilla Muslim who took over from his fellow Muslim Alh. Musa Mvurrlà as Divisional Party Chairman, held the office for another eight years. These latter two were Muslims who were supported up to that level by the same Christian leaders.  Mr. Amos John, JP, only took over after these two Muslims, so what do these settler demonists mean by “Christian maneuvering”? We wish to affirm that we the Mambilla Muslims are ready to elect another Christian to the Party Leadership again so long as such a person can deliver and we SHALL NEVER be swayed by any religious criterion, Muslim or Christian fanatics, or by any settler religious bigots and terror mongers nestling among us.  Our target is competence and performance and not some new and outlandish religious considerations.

We must reaffirm at this juncture that NO MAMBILLA, MUSLIM OR CHRISTIAN, IS COMPLAINING ABOUT ANY POLITICAL DECISION OF THE RT. HON. SPEAKER, DCN ABEL PETER DIAH. We are totally satisfied and have complete faith in our current political leaders. No one, not even a terrorist syndicate, can succeed in their futile attempts to polarize us or set us against our own dear and hardworking leaders. We are well aware that these devils among us intend to divide us the Mambilla now in order to achieve their devilish political aims ahead of 2019 and nothing more.

8. The phantom writers and anarchists further claimed that the Rt. Hon. Speaker maneuvered and imposed Hon. Godwill Sol as Acting Chairman following the suspension of former Chairman, Hon. John B. Yep. This is totally false and baseless and is a product of semi-illiterate minds. Contrary to their claim, the emergence of Rev. Godwill Sol as Acting Council Chairman was purely by operation of the law. As the Leader of the Legislative Arm of the Council, he is required by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to automatically takeover the Council Leadership in the occurrence of the vacuum as in the instant case. That was not a matter for anyone to choose. But these misguided terror propagandists thought they could deceive our people with this despicable exhibition of crass ignorance on their part.

9. The faceless and devil-inspired group further alleged that Chief G.T Kataps was a “de facto” leader in the current Government and was mandated to “naturalization and to decimate” Muslims. We wish to remind these demonists that Chief G.T Kataps has not been in the current government. Accordingly, decisions of this Government, de facto or de jure, are not attributable to him as a person. When he was in Government in those days, he strongly supported and brought to power the following Muslims without regard to their religious or ethnic affiliations:

a. Senator A.A Abdulaziz Ibrahim as Senator Central Zone
b. Bashir Marafa Abba as Member, House of Assembly, and later as Senator. He was also made Special Advisor L.G and Chieftaincy Affairs.
c. Babangida S.M Nguroje, Member House of Reps.
All these are Fulani Muslims. And all this while, nobody was complaining, not even the phantom terror-inspired group which now pretends to love and speak for Mambilla Muslim youths, but which in reality deeply hates to see any surviving Mambilla Youth.

10. These faceless and evil-minded writers claimed that the Mambilla Christians and CAN Taraba State incited the Mambilla crises, namely, the Fulani Mercenary invasions of Mambilla in June 2017 and March 2018. We the Mambilla Muslims are now well aware of their evil tactics. They pretend to love Mambilla Muslims, when in reality they love to kill Mambilla Muslims. If we may ask, who killed those Mambilla Muslims using sophisticated weapons in a mosque at Leme Yìríma in 2002, and at Yerimaru and Shirrip in 2018? Who carried out the March 2018 genocide against Mambilla Muslims at Nyiwa, Yelwa, Tungan Ahmadu and Maisamari? Were these Mambilla Muslims killed by Mambilla Christians and CAN? Was it not the armed wing of these terrorists now coming up in the propaganda wing called “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youths”? They are exactly the same merchants of deaths who change their tactics to suit their narrow, selfish and dangerous interests at particular points in time. Once we identify the killers of these Mambilla Muslims of blessed memory, we know the elements terrorizing Taraba State.

11. Partisan politics has nothing to do with tribe or religion. We wish to assert that we know our candidates to support and cannot be dictated to by such phantom anarchists.
12. This propaganda wing of unrepentant terrorists and anarchists dubiously alluded to a “Christianization” plot and further disparaged Mambilla Muslims appointees as “illiterates” and “ill-educated sycophants”. Funny enough, the write-ups of this evil and shadowy group betray a crop of ill-educated writers, half-baked and not conversant with the rubrics of English syntax. We note with utmost consternation the poverty, wretchedness, and slip-shod nature of the English language these supposedly “educated terror merchants” put down on paper! They must have learnt their English from Ruritania!

13. These evil writers who claim to be “educated” have further taken upon themselves to struggle against God, since they do not accept the Koranic and Biblical declaration that power comes from God Almighty, who gives it to whomsoever He wills regardless of educational level.

14. As regards the crises of 2017 and 2018, we are fully aware and take exceptional note of the terror merchants behind the planning and financing of the crisis. We are equally well aware that some people who withheld tens of  millions of jangali cattle tax and market fees from Government for two years, and who gathered staggering amounts from fuel station owners to acquire sophisticated weapons for the war and conduct terror training in the bushes are squarely responsible for the outbreak and the sustenance of those crises. We are also aware, as everyone else, that the Justice Nuhu Adi Judicial Commission of Inquiry that conducted an inquest into the crises indicted some kingpins and financiers of the Mambilla Crisis and no one can raise any new allegations today to divert attention from the glaring revelations before that Commission of Inquiry.

15. This subterranean and demon-inspired group further claimed that the Government had balkanized existing chiefdoms to “adorn them with the face of Christ…”. We wish to assert categorically here that the Mambilla and Kaka communities were never conquered by any jihadists in all history. Down to as recently as 1979, there were only four Friday mosques in the entire Mambilla Plateau, namely, at Ndàgà, Dorofi, Gembu and Maisamari. It must be noted that Mambilla Muslims voluntarily adopted Islam and were never the subjects of any jihadist conqueror. Facts of history clearly show that no jihadist adventurer succeeded in Mambilla in history and will never succeed under any guise. We are also well aware of the activities of economic adventurers who sometime back enforced the wicked rule that any person wishing to become a Muslim must pay a prescribed due.

16. As to the creation of new chiefdoms, it is a well-known policy of Governments the world over that as societies grow in population and complexities, and development becomes increasingly desirable, existing entities have to be further split up to effectively manage social growth and the attendant complexities. We are surprised that these poorly guided writers are, however, opposed to societal advancement.  They are blind to the facts of history that Nigeria was initially composed of three regions – Northern, Eastern and Western regions, to which Midwestern Region was added in 1963.  Subsequently, 12 states were created (1967), which rose to 19 states in 1976 and 21 in 1989, 32 in 1991 and 36 states in 1996. Similarly, Usman Dan Fodio hoisted only 13 flags and thirteen original emirates. Today, they are uncountable. Who has questioned their recent multiplications? Are these terrorist propagandists now questioning the multiplication of countless emirates in northern Nigeria? Indeed, true Mambilla citizens aspire to have new chiefdoms and local governments (or development area councils) created out of this very large and complex local government area.
    Why should these evil writers continue to incite disaffection merely because additional chiefdoms were created in Mambilla which is not their historical area of concern anyway? Was it only the Mambilla Plateau that was blessed with the creation of the new chiefdoms? Why must these evil men continue to seek to incite disharmony among Mambilla Muslims and Christians merely because six additional chiefdoms were created? Of which our people are still smarting from a massive and unprecedented celebrations? And hoping for more? Do you criticize our leaders who brought about such a huge and unquantifiable development and not appreciate them everlastingly? These terror beach-heads are too few and quite a tiny minority compared to the vast majority who lighted up the Mambilla Plateau in unspeakable celebrations in the wake of the announcement of the new chiefdoms. And our people are still celebrating this epoch-making development, totally oblivious of the machinations of this terror propaganda wing!

17. To further betray their wickedness and satanic motivations, these Mephistophelian religious bigots purport to malign the Government for providing assistance to the victims of the Mambilla crisis, alleging that Government financial assistance amounted to “blood money”. If we may ask, do these miscreants know what is meant by “blood money”?  This is because “blood money” refers to money seized by someone who killed and robbed his victims. Whereas the N310 million naira assistance offered victims by Government is a humanitarian gesture of a responsive leadership and NOT the distribution of “blood money” as these terror agents would want to have us believe. It was not meant to pay for those that lost their lives but rather to cushion the hardship of the surviving relations who lost properties or sustenance. Of course in the aftermath of the Fulani armed invasions of June 2017 and March 2018.

18. In the 2014/2015 period, these clandestine satanists concocted a certain document they bandied about exclusively among themselves as “Our Covenant” in their preparation for the 2015 General Elections. The imaginary “book” is known only to its criminal framers. They used it to influence some division among the people for their political purposes. Now that the 2019 General Elections are drawing near, they have fallen back on their same 2015 tactics and their supposed magic wand named “Covenant” in the hope of gaining massive votes for their unmarketable candidates in 2019. Unfortunately, this tactic has since been detected and it is like setting a trap for the monkey right under its own watch! They have failed this time around. Their “Covenant” cannot work this time.

19. We the Mambilla Muslims totally reject these undercover terrorist group called “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth”, phantom as it is, and who have sneaked into our society to spread their Sahelian terrorism here. These “merchants of war” cannot speak for Mambilla Muslims. We do not need their services and they are not welcome. We further urge all Mambilla Muslims to remain calm and focused and never accept the suggestions of these itinerant terror groups and violent urchins pushing us to hate our brothers on account of their faith.

20. We the Mambilla Muslims further reject their deliberately misinformative data about ethnic or religious compositions of the Mambilla Plateau which are designed to draw us into arguments about such figures. We shall not engage in debates whose topics are proposed by these terror merchants. We do not need Sahelian anarchists to tell us about our statistics.

21. We once again wish to inform all our people to ignore terrorist prodding in their entirety and to remain focused as this new deceptionist group is a social media transmogrification of the mercenary gangs of recent times. No Mambilla Muslims, or indeed of any faith at all, should entertain or countenance these Satanists feigning to champion religious politics, who secretly are murderers and bloodthirsty terrorists who have lost the opportunity to attack Mambilla Muslims and Christians alike with sophisticated weapons, in mosques and churches. They only remember that we have Mambilla Muslims when general elections are at the corner. After the elections, Mambilla Muslims are their key targets of gun attacks. For now, they hope to garner votes for their preferred candidates and party by keeping aside their AK47s and coming as campaigners for political Islam. They are waiting for the elections to come and go. They are waiting to be elected to power and then resume their AK47 operations everywhere. No Mambilla is a cow to be swayed by any terror groups, whether they are “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youth”, individual social media demonists, or any other propaganda forum at all. We the Mambilla Muslims have since seen through their veiled anti-people terrorist agenda and their attempts to infiltrate our society via deceptive religious sloganeering, and have vowed NEVER to allow that in our historically peace-loving society. The fake and demonic “Sardauna Concerned Muslim Youths” may carry their religious propaganda to their cradles in the extreme north and SHOULD LEAVE US HERE ALONE because we are not religious bigots, nor shall we ever be.

22. While commending the security and justice systems for apprehending and arraigning one of these dangerous social media authors recently, we wish to further call on the Directorate of State Security (DSS) and all other security agencies to apprehend those behind this latest satanic publications and who daily publish one inciting message or another to disturb public peace in Mambilla and Taraba State in general.
