-Dualization of Jalingo city gate, work to commence as contractors seals deal

His Excellency Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku today sweared in 8 Commisioners into the state executive council, this came as a result of same number which resigned to seek for political offices during the primaries under parties of their choice. It could be recalled that the Governor had ordered that anyone seeking to run for any political office under his administration should resign.

The Governor in his remarks after they took oath of office charged  them to be dedicated to their duties and contribute their own quota to the development of the state and success of the Rescue mission. He said among the millions in the state they've been trusted with the responsibility to serve the people and urged them to be fair and just to the office they will be occupying and to the state at at-large. The Governor however warned that they will be held responsible for any failure in their ministries because they he know and not the people working  undert them, urging that no one will do their jobs for them aside them self's

The Governor introduced the RCC contractors responsible for the dualization of the Jalingo city gate who were in the chambers to sign and seal the commencement of the projects

On the same note the Governor Innaugurated a third Class Chief of Yandang Pastor Haneil Henlewheni Banti as HRH San Panwe.  Ishaku prayed the chief to see his appointment as a channel of enhancing peace and harmony in his community, he reminded him that he is the number one security officer in his domain and must work vigorously to ensure that peace reigns. The Governor congratulated him and wished him a successful reign all through his kingship.

The permanent Secretary Bureau For local government and chieftaincy affairs Taraba state Alh Bello Yero speaking said today is a historic day in the lifes of the Yandang Community because Governor Darius has rewritten the wrongs that has lasted for decades. Bello said the Ishaku administration is a unique one because he took the bull by the horn by making sure that history is revisited and smiles brought to the faces of Tarabans. The Yandang Community he said will for ever  remain grateful for this kind gesture. 50 chiefdoms so far has been created by His Excellency Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku since his assumption of office

The Chief of Yandang HRH San panwe thanked the Governor for the kind gesture showed to them, he said even when they thought all hope was lost he brought back smiles to the faces of  the people of yandang community indeed he is the Rescue Captain. He promised to work tirelessly in making sure that Total peace returns to Lau LG and prayed that the good God will keep guiding him Aright.

Simon Dogara who spoke on behalf of the newly sworn in Commisioners thank the Governor for finding them worthy of being part of his administration, he said they will work together in making sure that he succeed and his reelection a success.

The event took place at the Government house Executive chambers Jalingo and was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Governor Engr Haruna Manu, Chief judge, Justice Josephine Tuktur, Distinguished Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau,  partners from RCC and other top Government functionaries.
