The governor was reacting to the recent attack on five borderline communities of Numan, Demsa local government areas and some communities in Taraba State.
Governor Bindow who spoke through the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh noted with dismay that the spillover effect of the crisis has resulted in an influx of internally displaced persons thereby exacerbating the humanitarian crisis facing the state as a result of insurgency and earlier attacks in the State.
Consequently, the governor directed the deputy governor to immediately convene a security meeting to address the situation.
Meanwhile, Governor Bindow has equally directed the state Emergency Management Agency and the Commissioner of Health to deliver aid materials and medication to the affected communities.
