Chief Detail to Taraba's helmsman, Governor Darius Ishaku, Mr. Ishaya Audu has lost his newly acquired car to hoodlums in Jalingo.

A source at the scene of crime said the CD had parked his car around the ATC area of the state and went in to greet a family.

He said, "when he came out, he didn't see his car again. The area is notorious for such car snatches."

Residents of Jalingo have continue to complain that inner city crime is on the increase. A nursing student was raped and stabbed to death Sunday night.

Gang and cult rivalry has also become a worrying feature.

Audu has since reported the matter to police.
