Pageantry involves the display of beautiful,well mannered and cultured young women in a contest, the contest usually has a "goal"...intentions and objectives.
The winner of the contest is usually determined by the judges with criterias to observe.
The most graded in intelligence, appearance, confidence ,courage ,and potentials are considered winners.

Pageantry is platform to involve women in developmental activities to uplift societal reputation, it is also a link for the girl child and her immediate society.

A beauty queen most have multiple ideas and programs to positively affect the lives of women and children. A crown queen remains absolete if her impact are silent.
Her crown remains her opportunity to advocate for a better living for the less privileged, initiate proposal creative enough to out point any form of failure and wrong perceptions.

Pageantry is a two sided coin, it depends on how you look at it....
Side A, the purpose is to expose upcoming talents in modeling and photography...develop their confidence in political participation and other social development phases.
It is intended to create a platform for advocacy for civil rights of women and children protected...
The creativity around pageantry is highly enormous...
Side B, annoyingly the most dominant in the affairs, where innocent naive girls are used for so many ills and pressured against there will to engage in so many social vices just because of unpopular
Interests.

Statistics have revealed over 3000 crown queens in West Africa.. And yet their impact is never felt, Africa still remains the highly deficit in Education, good drinking water, access to health care and ICT... The women constantly experiencing violence ,brutality,rape and usually sold for prostitution across African sores.
Nigeria alone has over 1300 crowned queens , but only less than 17 percent display absolutely the functions of their crowns.. This alone has discouraged alot good minds from investing in the venture..
We must put hands on deck and provide  corrective measures in regaining the initial configuration and purpose of pageantry to humanity.
The power of any crown queen is her reign (time)... Impact stamped and future opportunities..
All beauty queens must contribute their efforts individually to promote the good name and purpose of pageantry.
So that the younger generation of women will have a good starting point ....
