Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has promised to construct the Kurmi road before the end of his first tenure in office.
The Governor made this remark when stakeholders of the Local Government paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House Jalingo.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog (RAB) team confirmed that he assured them of his firm determination to improve their situations by constructing the Kurmi Road which will help to boost the Economic activities of the area.
In his remarks, Chief of Kurmi Local Government Samaila Maiwuya commended Governor Ishaku and his team for purposeful and visionary leadership they have been offering the people, saying that it is evident that all parts of the State is receiving transformation. He also pleaded with him to expose the resources that abound in the area that has the viability to boost the state economy.

The Taraba State Deputy Governor, Engr. Haruna Manu, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Anthony Jellason, Chief of Staff Government House Rebo Usman, and other Government functionaries were in attendance.
