Jalingo- After the swearing in & oath taking of the new excos of TSEI months ago, the industry held its first meeting under the leadership of Jegs Mailafia. The meeting which took place on Sunday 29 October 2017 at green beach.

It had in attendance, key players in Taraba state  entertainment & other entertainers from various ramifications. Mailafia presided over the meeting. he states the need for togetherness, love & support which is the basis for growth & development. and in the quest to make the industry grow.


Top of the agenda of the agenda of the meeting include Industry night & dues payment. "I don't want us (entertainers) to be seen as rascal or beggars, so we need to raise money for ourselves without necessarily begging people always for it" and in the quest to meet with the above. the following conclusions where made

1. Every entertainer will pay 1000 as yearly due.
2.Every entertainer shall pay monthly due of
200 for students
500 for workers.
3. The yearly due must be paid first (as membership renewal) before the subsequent monthly dues
4. Yearly due will take effect from next year while monthly due takes effect from December.
5. The Industry will dissociate itself from any me ever who doesn't pay
6.Every entertainer will turn up for sanitation of round about (Machelin),Jailngo on a yet to fix date to clean up the vicinity.
