Association of Nigeria has condemned the
recent killing of many pastoralists, including
women and children, in Taraba State.
It also asked the Federal Government to bring
the perpetrators of the act to justice, since
nobody is above the law.
In a statement by the National President, Khalil
Bello, the group said it rejects “in totality and
condemned in unmistakable terms the anti-
grazing law passed by Benue State government
and the one under process in Taraba State.
“This is because the law negates the Nigeria
constitution which provides for movement of
livestock without any hindrance or deprivation
by any government or individual in the
federation.”

to preserve the already existing grazing
reserves and cattle routes to avoid the
