The executive governor of Taraba
state Arc Darius
Dickson Ishaku today swore in the
Taraba state
judicial council members, the event
took place at the
government house Exco chambers
jalingo, in
attendance were His Excellency the
Deputy governor
of Taraba state Engr Haruna manu,
the state chief
judge Justice Josephine Tuktur, SSG
Hon
AnthonyJellason, Chief of staff Hon
Rebo usman,
Commisioners, Advisers, SSA's and
well wishers.
The Governor in a brief Remark
admonished the
newly inaugurated judicial council
members and the
appointees to take a challenge and
render service to
humanity through there office. The
governor prayed
the Coordinators of Ngada and
Yangtu to key into the
rescue mission immediately so as
to deliver the
expected growth required of them,
so also was for
the specialist Board members. He
congratulated the
citizens for the support sofar giving
to him and his
administration and also promised
to keep doing all
he can to move the state to the
dream of every
Taraba.
The Governor speaking said, I wish
to use this
opportunity to urge all of you to
take this
responsibility with all sense of
seriousness. As fresh
members of the Resuce team you
are charge to bring
idea on board to speedily bring
idea to grow the
mission, I urge you to get a copy of
the agenda, this
will guide you on the project, so
that you can
contribute to the succesfull
movement of this
mission. I want to specially thank
each and everyone
of you for coming. All of you sworn
in today has
special responsibility to handle
especially the judicial
service, I will want you to uphold
justice because at
this time justice is badly needed.
The specialist Hospital you must
wake up and
improve your services because we
are lacking in
medicals and by next year we will
equip the hospital,
because it is the equipments that
makes a hospital.
To Ngada I will say now is the time
for you to work
for the people and you must help
your self and the
people, because you are lacking
behind, and if you
don't help them God will also judge
you because they
are indeed deprived. To Yangtu I'm
hoping you bring
a new derive to the people so that
they can be able to
appreciate you better.
Taraba state we are bless all round
and all we need
to do is to wake up and handle this
resources but it
can only be done if you wake up
then we can also
support as a government. By next
year we will
graduate a lot of youths who have
been empowered
through trainings and we will keep
doing it until our
entire youths are engage with
something doing. Right
now all we want is sustaining the
peace we have
worked for and we can not sustain
it without
engaging people in doing
something because an ideal
mind is a devil workshop.
If you talk of farming Taraba state
alone can sustain
and give the entire country enough
rice. Ofcos you
are aware that the Tea is the
number one in the
country and we are working to
make good publicity
about that. Also we are working on
the Mining
services and we have engage the
federal government
on that and I'm sure they are doing
something
concerning that. Gentle men and
ladies I want to tell
you that we will continue to do our
best. The train is
moving and we want others to
come join the train.
Responding onbehalf of the newly
inaugurated
appointees, Rtd Grand Chadi Justice
Mamman Salai
said first and famous we thanked
God as members of
JSC from Taraba state. Your
Excellency sir our duties
are truly spelled out, and we hope
we will never fail
you as stipulated in our
Constitution and anything
outside this will be a breach of the
constitution of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will
perform our
function with all humility and
according to the law.
What you've said today is strong for
the heart and I
belive every one inaugurated today
will put all into
action and work for the success of
this state. I urge
you to have your eyes closed while
sleeping because
we will never fail you.
