GIDEON JOSEPH MAILAFIA, better known as JEGS is the Founder/Owner, President and CEO PHLOZ IMPACT NIG LTD. Jegs is an Entrepreneur, Songwriter, Singer and rapper, born and partly raised in Bauchi, State, before moving to his home state, Taraba, in Nigeria where his molding was completed. Jegs was born on November 25th, to the family of Mr/Mrs Joseph Mailafia, and has three siblings whose acronym and his, the fourth one form the name JEGS; they are Jemuel, Emmanuel, Gideon and Smart (JEGS).

African youngest CEO, Jegs Mailafia attended lots of schools but one unique one is St. Mark Secondary School, Baissa in Kurmi LGA of Taraba State. Where he began building his business ideas and music life in company of Chwanu Danjuma A.K.A” SLOW” his friend.
After graduating from St. Mark he went to Informatics Kazaure where he studied Computer Science and graduated in 2012 before coming back Home to fully kick start his business and music hustle. At a point in 2012, his music at it neophyte stage, began growing bigger and better as he was always performing in the street shows and campus events gaining him some grounds in the music industry.
Gideon Joseph Mailafia A.K.A Jegs as the C.E.O “PHLOZ MUSIQ” Record Label, signed four Artistes this year 2016; they are three guys and a lady, two Rappers, Two Singers who are yet to be unveiled. The four newly signed artistes are putting in lots of hard work for next year, the beginning of their career in PHLOZ MUSIQ. Jegs is presently working on his Mix tape Album, and also 6 (six) Tracks EP which will all drop in 2017.
