The ongoing military offensive on Boko Haram in
Borno and Yobe states has forced the insurgents to
flee from their locations for Taraba State.
Your health is very important, don't joke with it.

Shehu Saulawa, the Taraba State Director of the State
Security Service (SSS) revealed this yesterday to a
team of senators led by Senator Kabiru Gaya, who
were at Taraba state for a fact finding mission, over a
motion raised early this year at the Senate by Senator
Emmanuel Bwacha, a senator representing Taraba
South Senatorial District, on the influx of insurgents
into the state.

Speaking at an interactive session convened for
security chiefs and other stakeholders by Senator
Gaya’s led team at the exco chambers of the Taraba
State Government House, Jalingo, the director SSS
said the Boko Haram insurgents are fleeing from the
troubled states because of the military offensive on
them for Taraba state to look for a hiding place.

Saulawa further specifically mentioned areas in the
state like; Bali, Mutum-Biyu, Gassol and Tella were
the Boko Haram elements are relocating to.
He said security operatives had trapped and arrested
some of them.
