It is no longer News that the State Government is taking responsibility of reconstructing roads in Jalingo, the state capital.
It is against this background that our correspondent went round to sample the public’s opinion on the on-going Kona road in the state capital.
The residents of the area, especially shop owners along the road, appreciated the plans of road construction put in place by the government; saying it is no doubt that the Rescue Agenda has set in.
Our correspondent who recently relocated to the area said Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku and his deputy Haruna Manu mean well for the state. He stressed that
it is now a thing of joy that the road is now more easily accessible.
While confirming the on-going road construction, the Commissioner of Works and Transport, Dr. Tafarki Abagdu added that the road construction is a dream come true by the Executive Governor who have made it a duty to rescue all areas where the state is lacking behind
