He stated this at the closing ceremony of the one-
week Training program for staff of the Bureau for
Public Procurement.
The Governor who was represented by his deputy
Haruna Manu said due process must be followed in
all government transactions to deliver dividends of
democracy to the people of the state.
Darius Dickson Ishaku said the state government had
put measures in place to ensure the return of budget
based procurement and day-to-day running of public
service.
In his remarks the Director-General Bureau for
Public Procurement called on all Tarabans to support
the present administration in its mission to promote
accountability, merit, transparency, probity,
efficiency, fairness, reliability and ethical standards in
government service.
He commended the state government for organizing
the training which assisted government and civil
servants in understanding the procedures of Public
Procurement.
