Taraba State Governor, Mr. Darius Ishaku, has said even if the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Aisha Jummai Alhassan, goes to the Supreme Court to challenge his Appeal Court victory, she will still lose since she has no valid case.
Ishaku disclosed this through his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Sylvanus Giwa, on the judgment, which confirmed him as the duly elected governor of the state.
 
The governor said the court verdict shows that the Judiciary is for all Nigerians not for “selective citizens.”
He said: “The Appeal Court ruled that the APC and Alhassan have no right to challenge the emergence of the PDP governorship candidate since none of them is a member of the PDP”, hence even if they go to the apex court, he would still win.
“When they go to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court will throw away that case,” he said.
