Following the subsequent bombing of innocent
Nigerians by suicide bombers in some motor parks
across the country, Taraba State government has
banned multiple motor parks in the state.

Ishaku, who spoke to journalists yesterday in Jalingo
through the state chairman on environmental
sanitation, Hon. Shuaibu Attaka Shaukani said the
idea by the state government to band multiple motor
parks in the state was addressing the issue of
insecurity among others in the state.

“Like in Gombe and Adamawa, suicide bombers have
severally attacked motor parks. To take a proactive
measure, we decided to band multiple parks and
move all parks to a single place” he said.

He stressed that the ongoing demolition of illegal
structures in Jalingo, the state capital was to further
restore the aesthetic beauty of the state.
“The ongoing demolition is meant to clear all

obstructions on highways and beautify the capital
city, making it look decent.
Perhaps, when governor Darius was campaigning, he
promised the good people of the state that he will
transform Taraba State to semi London” he added.
He called on the people of the state to be more
security conscious and report any suspicious
movement to security agencies.
